At just 32 years old, Hirmaniya’s life has been torn apart by tragedy. Once married, she was abandoned by her husband after suffering severe burns that scarred her body from her legs up to her hips. Since then, her only support has been her elderly mother, a woman far too old to carry such a heavy burden, yet still struggling every day to keep them both alive. 
The Daily Struggle
Hirmaniya cannot walk. Her legs and hips are so badly burnt that she can only crawl across the floor. She depends on her mother for even the simplest tasks. Together, they beg for food from neighbors, who sometimes share a little rice or dal-chawal out of kindness.
Her mother, despite her age, still fetches water from far away, carrying heavy containers just so they can survive one more day. But they have no source of income. No work. No stability.
Every day is an endless battle with hunger, pain, and despair. 
The Treatment She Desperately Needs
Doctors have said that multi-stage surgeries, skin grafting, and intensive care can help restore some mobility and give Hirmaniya a chance at dignity.
The treatment requires hospitalization of 10–15 days, with costs including:
