For 16-year-old Asha Mondal from Nadia, West Bengal, life has been an uphill battle. While most teenagers dream about their future, Asha’s biggest struggle is fighting an aggressive tumor that threatens to take away her ability to see and live without pain  Asha suffers from Neurofibroma, a rare genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerve tissues. In her case, the condition has aggressively affected her optic nerve and facial region, leading to severe swelling, pain, and progressive vision loss. What started as a small, painless lump near her eye has now turned into a massive tumor pressing against her orbit, making it difficult to see and perform even the most basic activities. Every day, she struggles with constant pain, blurred vision, and the fear of losing her eyesight completely. Doctors have warned that if left untreated, her condition could lead to permanent blindness, life-threatening infections, or irreversible facial deformities. Asha doesn’t just need treatment—she needs it urgently.

Asha Needs Urgent Surgery to Save Her Future

The only way to stop Asha’s condition from worsening is an urgent, complex surgical procedure (Debulking with Craniotomy). This surgery will remove the tumor, relieve pressure on her optic nerve, and restore her ability to see and live without pain. But the financial burden is overwhelming. The total cost of ₹12,10,000 is impossible for her family to bear alone. Asha’s father, a daily wage farmer, has done everything in his power—taking loans, borrowing from friends, and cutting down on essentials. Now, with time running out, they have no one left to turn to except kind-hearted souls like you.
