Nadir is just 1.5 years old. At an age when children are learning to eat, babble, and explore the world, Nadir is struggling to do the most basic human act swallow food. He was born with severe craniofacial deformities. His lips, palate, and nose are affected, and his condition makes eating extremely difficult. Food often slips out. Feeding takes hours. Every meal becomes exhausting, painful, and frightening for his family.

Yet Nadir is a happy child. He laughs. He plays. He tries to keep up with other children, unaware of how different his body is.

A Family Holding On With Almost Nothing

Nadir’s father is the only earning member of the family. He works as a daily labourer in another city and sends whatever little money he can back home. Some days, it is enough to buy food. Many days, it is not. His mother stays back in the village, caring for Nadir full time. There is no financial support. No savings. No one to turn to.

Specialised medical care, surgeries, and ICU treatment are far beyond what this family can afford on their own. Until now, they have delayed treatment not because they do not care, but because survival itself is a daily struggle.

Why Nadir Needs Help Now

Doctors have confirmed that Nadir needs urgent corrective surgery and medical care to help him eat, grow, and survive without constant risk of infection and malnutrition. Without treatment, his condition will continue to affect his health, speech, nutrition, and future development.

This is not just about fixing a medical condition. This is about giving a child the chance to grow normally.

This is about helping a father believe his son can have a future beyond pain.

Your Support Can Change His Life

Nadir did not choose to be born this way. But together, we can choose to stand with him.

Your donation can help him receive life-changing treatment. Your support can turn feeding from suffering into comfort. Your kindness can give a 1.5-year-old child a real chance at a healthy life.

He is still smiling.

Let us make sure he can grow up strong too.

Please donate.

Please share Nadir’s story.

Because for this little boy, help cannot wait.

Child Name: Mohammad Nadir
Age: 1.5 Years
Location: Katihar, Bihar

When Mohammad Nadir’s case first reached us, we were informed that he required treatment for bilateral cleft lip. At just one and a half years old, even this alone was enough to place his health, nutrition, and development at serious risk.

But when Nadir arrived for medical evaluation, the reality was heavier than expected.

Before Treatment: The Hidden Battle

During a detailed examination, doctors discovered that Nadir was also suffering from club foot, a condition that had gone undiagnosed until then. This meant that his challenges were not limited to feeding difficulties and facial deformity alone, but also included impaired mobility and long term physical discomfort.

This sudden discovery changed everything.

Medically, the treatment plan became more complex.
Emotionally, the weight of Nadir’s condition grew heavier.
Financially, the situation became far more uncertain.

For a moment, the road ahead felt unclear.

Condition Before Treatment

Before receiving medical care, Nadir faced severe difficulty in feeding. Food would slip out while he tried to eat, making it nearly impossible for him to consume adequate nutrition. This placed him at constant risk of malnutrition and infection.

His untreated club foot added another layer of struggle, affecting his posture, comfort, and future mobility. Combined with his facial conditions, Nadir’s early life was filled with physical discomfort during a stage meant for growth and play.

Family Background and Financial Challenges

Nadir comes from a family with very limited means. His father works as a daily wage labourer in another city and is the only earning member of the family. His income is irregular and barely enough to manage daily needs.

His mother is a full time caregiver, dedicating herself entirely to her child’s care. The family had no savings, no financial safety net, and no way to manage advanced medical treatment on their own.

Despite their love and effort, timely treatment was impossible without external support.

Our Commitment in Action

Although the treatment plan became more complex and full financial support could not be arranged in time, Nadir’s care was never delayed or stopped.

When challenges rise, humanity must rise higher.

Support came forward in unexpected ways. Compassionate donors, including an anonymous supporter, along with committed team members, stepped in to ensure that Nadir received the complete care he deserved.

This decision reflected a promise we stand by
a child’s life is never put on hold because of financial gaps.

Treatment Provided

Nadir underwent corrective surgery for his cleft lip, addressing one of the most critical challenges affecting his feeding and comfort. Alongside this, treatment for club foot was initiated and managed, helping improve his physical alignment and mobility.

Post operative care and close medical monitoring were provided to support healing and recovery.

Treatment Completion

Nadir’s treatment was successfully completed on 5 February 2026. Throughout the process, he responded positively and showed steady improvement.

After Treatment: A Promise Kept

Today, Nadir smiles again.
Today, he feeds with greater ease.
Today, he stands on stronger feet.

His pain and discomfort have reduced significantly. There is visible improvement in his facial structure, and his overall comfort and growth prospects are far better than before.

This is not just a medical success.
This is what collective kindness looks like.

Looking Ahead

Nadir will continue with routine follow ups as he grows. With continued care and monitoring, his chances of healthy development and an improved quality of life have increased considerably.
