Shilpa, a bright and soft-spoken 12-year-old girl, was born with a rare condition called Vascular Malformation. Over the years, the swelling worsened. What started as a small mark became a constant source of pain—both physical and emotional. She couldn’t eat properly. Couldn’t sleep well. And she certainly couldn’t live like a normal child.
Even her younger brother started facing mockery at school.
“How’s your sister doing? Still looking like that?”
Children can be cruel, but the silence of adults was louder.
Shilpa’s father is an auto driver who works long hours, rain or shine, just to keep food on the table. Her mother is a homemaker trying to hold the family together. The household income is barely enough for survival, let alone life-saving surgery. Their only wish is to give Shilpa the childhood she deserves. But the required treatment is far beyond what they can afford.
Despite all that she has gone through, Shilpa is full of hope. She’s excited about the upcoming surgery because it means she won’t have to hide behind her hair anymore. It means she can look in the mirror and smile. It means she can dream again—freely. Her medical team has confirmed that with the right treatment, Shilpa can live a normal, pain-free life. But they need help. Your help.
The cost of her complete treatment is ₹18,25,000. An amount that feels impossible for her family. But if we all come together—donating even a little—it becomes possible. This is your chance to make a lasting impact. Not just on her body, but on her soul. We often scroll past stories like these, telling ourselves someone else will help.
But what if you are the reason Shilpa walks out of the hospital smiling?
What if your contribution lets her brother stop worrying about what the kids at school say?
What if your kindness lets a father finally sleep knowing his daughter isn’t crying in pain anymore?

Shilpa is now medically stable and ready for her first surgery. Her condition has been closely monitored, and doctors have prepared a treatment plan to begin addressing the vascular malformation.
However, due to her young age and the complexity of the condition, this will not be a one-time procedure. Shilpa will need multiple surgeries over time, along with long-term care and support during her recovery.
We’re deeply grateful for the support she has received so far. But her journey is far from over. She still needs us—every message, every prayer, every donation matters.
Let’s continue to walk beside her. 💛

We’re glad to share that Shilpa's surgery has been scheduled for the 26th of June. Prior to the surgery, she will undergo a series of essential pre-operative tests to ensure she is fit and fully prepared for the procedure. These medical evaluations are a standard and crucial part of the treatment plan.
As a platform committed to dignity and timely care, we are doing everything possible to support her journey. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed so far—your support has made a real difference.
However, a small portion of the required funds is still pending. In the days leading up to the surgery, we will be reaching out once more to the same compassionate community that stood by her side—to help us raise the remaining amount. With your continued support, we’re confident we can give her the quality care she deserves, without delay or compromise.
Note - Any amount raised beyond the required treatment cost will be used to support other individuals who were less fortunate and could not receive the help they needed.
